Our Story

Founded in 2015, Jay Insights began with a simple mission: to make financial expertise accessible to all, especially those traditionally underserved by the financial industry.

We recognized that many South Africans, particularly youth and those from disadvantaged communities, lacked access to quality financial guidance and opportunities. Our founder, Jarrot Mpofu , experienced these challenges firsthand growing up in pretoria, and was determined to create a solution.

What started as a small consulting practice has grown into a comprehensive financial services firm with a team of dedicated professionals passionate about financial empowerment and community development.

A versatile professional with extensive experience across multiple business disciplines, Jarrot brings valuable expertise to Jay Insights:

  • Experienced in budgeting, business writing, corporate governance, financial regulation, and economic policy
  • Skilled in human capital management, economic planning, PFMA, MFMA, tax policy, and intergovernmental relations
